Have your expectations for his band be fulfilled?

Well, I have learned in my live, that you don’t have to have to high expectations.

And now after 150 long hard days I can say that I’m not disappointed but surprised positively and happy to work with this nice and musically clever guys.

Have you found your place in the band? There are rumors, that you are now the new bandleader.

I have found my place. That was very easily. And yes, they offered the job as bandleader to me, but that was more than logical in that up to then chaotic relations.

But I want to notice that I didn’t applied for the job.

But now seriously: there don’t have to be a “bandleader”. Even more it is important, that everyone has to have equal rights.

What are your aims and wishes for the future of the band? Are there plans for a big tour around the world or a new CD?

Aims and wishes? Hmm, i think we should make round about 60 - 80 shows in a year. TV and radio wouldn’t be bad too.

If necessary i would be satisfied with 10 or 12 shows in a year. A big wish would be to banish the cats out of the rehearsal rooms.

About the CD I can tell, that we are working on recordings and they will be finished in a few month. About a tour you must ask our management. An artist like me, does not take care of this details.

How would you describe the style of the band?

-less!! No, i hate to put everything in a drawer. But when you want to hear something, I would say it is rock with experimental influences.

Until now, you have only worked out the old songs of the band or already wrote some new songs? Maybe new lyrics or arrangements?

Since there are many unfinished good songs we focused on that. But when this is finished I surely will bring in my ideas. I see my part mostely in the arrangements. There I see many possible improvements.

What have you done, before you joined SEASONS OF TIME?

Well, i was more occupied with interpretations of well known Rock songs. And with my irish solo project.

Will you keep on with your solo-project?

I don’t know, I can’t say it in the moment. It is more important for me now to bring up SEASONS OF TIME.

What is the difference between a show, where you are alone on stage and a show with SEASONS OF TIME?

On the 6th of june i can give you an answer, cause i didn’t had a show with the band up to now. Generally it needs more concentration, when you are alone on stage. You don’t have so much possibilities to cover up a mistake. And no one would help you. You have to become familiar with this situation.
